While you’re putting together your list of fun things to do with the kids this summer, why not incorporate doing something kind for others?  Kids love helping out and it is one of the most rewarding activities you can do with them.  It’s a great way to bond as a family and teach kids about compassion and community service.  Here are 25 random acts of kindness for kids that you and your family can do together this summer.

  1. Offer to help carry in the groceries.
  2. Let someone ahead of you in line at a summer event or attraction.
  3. Make someone else’s bed.
  4. Tell your brother or sister how much you love them.
  5. Leave water bottles for the mail or garbage people.
  6. Make a card for someone and mail it.
  7. Pick up trash around a local attraction like the zoo, amusement park, etc.
