Seven Oaks has human-made snow, which means there’s always snowboarding, tubing and skiing. Build a Bear Workshop at Jordan Creek Town Center offers unique birthday celebration options as creative as your child! Choose from a customized menu of stuffed animals for your guests to make with a Party Leader. Parties are available for five or more guests and last an hour to an hour and a half. Partiers will make and take home a furry friend, play party games and participate in fun-filled activities and will receive party hats (including little ones for the furry friends).

Skating at the Brenton Skating Plaza has become a quintessential winter experience in Des Moines. Celebrate your little ice skater by taking them and their friends for a spin on the ice. Brenton isn’t currently offering birthday party packages, but you can purchase individual or group tickets for all of your guests. Online registration for skating sessions is available. Each skating session is limited to 175 people (150 reserved, 25 walk-ups) and lasts for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Guests may arrive up to 20 minutes early for their scheduled session.
