Do you have a favorite Christmas light display we missed? Tell others about it in the Comments below.

  1. Jolly holiday lights are sponsored by HyVee this year and they are in the Adventureland Campground!!!! and they are amazing!!!!

  2. Unfortunately, the Jolly Holiday lights display has closed for the season. Sustained large rain falls has caused rivers to rise and flood waters are threatening Des Moines Water Works Park, as well as the roads near it. Rivers are expected to crest above flood stage this week. http://iowa.wish.org/news-and-events/calendar-of-events/november/event-detail-page

  3. The gingerbread house in Grimes is not happening. Found the house – no lights!

    • There is another house in Grimes that is all decorated for the Holidays but I don’t know the address for it, I can see it from 44 as I drive through Grimes, if you are heading East, its on the right hand side of the road.
