Wildlife Explorers: Pond Adventure

Dip into Greenwood Park pond with the Des Moines Parks and Recreation Environmental Education program. Participants will learn about the pond and the animals that call the pond home. We will be looking for signs and sounds of animals around the pond and then dip into the pond with nets looking for the interesting creatures that live under the water. This is a great way for young and the not so young to discover and learn together. All supplies will be provided, dirty hands guaranteed. Participants will take home a Pack of Gear so they can go out on their own Pond Adventure at home. Registration is required.
