All in Favor of FREE Chick-Fil-A, Say “Aye”!

By Natalie Maughan

Any family with young kids knows the chicken sandwich and lemonade all too well. Yet, have you tried Chick-Fil-A for their breakfast? How about giving a breakfast biscuit a-go on the house? That’s right, every Tuesday at local participating Chick-Fil-A’s you can get one “mystery” breakfast item for FREE for each person in attendance. Here’s the best part: you don’t even have to leave your car if you don’t want to. You can ask for it at the drive-thru. I know what you’re thinking: “How have I missed this?!” Well, here’s your chance to make every Tuesday morning even more awesome.

Escape the cold and let the littles play

A few friends and I have planned our play dates at Chick-Fil-A so the kids can play together and burn energy at the play place while the moms can enjoy a nice bacon, egg and cheese biscuit (or whatever the free item may be) and chat. As you know, sometimes it’s hard to get the little ones out and active in the winter or on cold spring days. It’s a FREE play place, FREE breakfast– everything about this screams WIN!

Check Facebook for Updates

During March Madness Chick-Fil-A is doing “March Breakfast Madness” where you can vote via Facebook between two breakfast items. They will announce the winning item on Monday and you can stop by a participating location for that free item the following day. Obviously, if you want a drink or other food options or the new Frosted Strawberry Lemonade (which I hear from very reliable resources is a slam dunk) you are required to pay for such items. “March Breakfast Madness” only lasts until April 18th so if you want a chance to vote on your favorite item or one you’ve been wanting to try, go visit their Facebook page and vote.

On the Double

Don’t worry, the freebies don’t end after April; participating restaurants plan to offer a FREE “mystery” breakfast item every Tuesday for all of 2017. Mark your calendars, people. Set an alarm on your phone. Your kids and your stomach will thank you.

Natalie Maughan and her hubby moved around a bit before landing in the Des Moines area three years ago. She is the mother of three girls and loves spending time with each one of them. When the stars align and there is some free time, she enjoys reading, sewing, cross stitching and embroidery work.  She and her family love everything about Iowa and find it to be a wonderful place to raise a family. Iowa has become home.
