Hit the court as the Iowa Wolves host the Salt Lake City Stars Friday and the Sioux Falls Skyforce Saturday for their 2018-19 season home opener.
Have some errands you need to run sans kids? The Waukee Y is hosting Parent’s Day Out! They will provide a safe and positive environment for your kiddos ages 6 weeks to 12 years, while you enjoy some time to yourself. Lunch will be served. Find additional info. here.

Send a wish list to the North Pole during Dear Santa Letter Week, November 7th – 14th. Sign up with your local Parks and Recreation Department and the big guy will respond with a letter!
- Ankeny Parks & Recreation/Letters to Santa: Fill out the ‘Letter to Santa’ form and kids ages 3-6 will receive a personalized letter back from Santa! Forms are available at the Parks & Recreation Office beginning November 1st. All forms must be submitted by Dec. 7. Ankeny residents only.
- Urbandale Parks & Recreation/Letter from Santa: Kids 10 and under will enjoy the opportunity to receive a letter from Santa mailed directly to them. The letter will arrive approximately one week before Christmas. Registration Deadline: December 7th.
- Waukee Parks & Recreation/Letters from Santa: To receive a personalized letter from Santa, please contact the Waukee Parks & Recreation Department at (515) 978-0007 from November 1 – 21. The fee is $5.

It’s Kids vs. Cops at the Fourmile Community Center! Join the Des Moines Police Department for some fun playing hockey this month.
