If your little one has been channeling the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lately, this might be a good Spring Break camp for them. Aspen Martial Arts is offering Spring Break Camp Monday, March 13th through Friday, March 17th, 2017. Drop off-time is 8:30 am and pick-up is between 3:30 and 4:15 pm each day. $199 for members, please contact them for non-member pricing.

The Bulldog Soccer Academy Spring Break Camp is designed for boys and girls ages 8-13 and will be offered March 13-17, 2017. Campers will be taught proper technique through small-sided games and contests. All activities will be arranged in a fun, safe and skill appropriate environment. Each day campers will play, go swimming, and compete for prizes. Lunch will be provided for full-day campers. A half-day camp option is available from 9:00 AM-11:30 AM. Half-day campers will leave camp each day before lunch. Camp facilities are prepared for Iowa’s weather; indoor in Drake’s turfed Field House and outdoor in Drake Stadium. Half Day Camp 9:00 to 11:30 AM is $150.00 and Full Day camp 9:00 am to 4:00 pm is $250.00.

Easter Seals Iowa Spring Break Camp is Monday, March 13- Thursday, March 16 at Easter Seals Iowa Camp Sunnyside. Camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for ages four and older. Register now as space is limited to 30 campers. Spring Break Camp provides an integrated setting where people with and without disabilities learn and grow together. Cost is $150 for the week.

Put on your thinking caps, it’s time to create! Explore a variety of art making techniques in drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture to build, design, and create unique art inventions. Discover curious objects in the museum to investigate and study for inspiration. Extended care is available. Classes are offered to kids ages four to 17. They also offer Parent+Child and Family Classes. Costs vary depending on the age and type of class you register for. Maybe the sun will come out tomorrow, but for now, we predict windy conditions in Oz, snowy weather in Narnia and (this just in) it’s Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Bring an umbrella and brave the elements at the Des Moines Playhouse to explore these and other stories through creative drama, role playing and lots of hands-on activities. Magicamp is for anyone who likes to have fun. You’ll spend two days learning from professional magician Lee Cole on how to entertain and amaze your friends, family and classmates. You’ll learn stuff that you can do anywhere, at anytime and for the rest of your life. All magic materials are provided. Drop off an ordinary child and pick up Harry Potter/Hermione!
