Now, don your fanciest yoga pants, prop your feet up, and enjoy a night out … in.

Here’s where you can find top Des Moines entertainment streaming online:

Des Moines Metro Opera

Unfortunately, the Opera decided to cancel their 2020 Summer Festival Season. In lieu of an in-person festival, Des Moines Metro Opera teamed up with Iowa PBS to share online and televised presentations of their recent productions. These online performances will also be supplemented by artist recitals, cast reunions, interviews, prelude talks, and digital versions of annual DMMO events.

Des Moines Performing Arts

Through their #PROJECTJOY, Des Moines Performing Arts is sharing a number of activities that families can do to bring performing arts into their home. Each week, they add new activities for young learners, inviting you to explore featured artists that have performed on DMPA stages.

Des Moines Playhouse

The Playhouse recently announced that they will be releasing a Friday FunDay video series starting on Friday, May 15th.  Friday FunDay is fun interactive theatre for kids.  The Playhouse gang dramatizes a favorite story using their imaginations and the costume pieces and props they find in their Magic Trunk. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for additional details.

Des Moines Symphony

The Symphony has been hosting #DMSOatHome, a project aimed at connecting with the community online through videos, livestreamed concerts, and more. Watch for all-new content on their social media channels and on their website.
