Draw Every Day with Jarrett J. Krosoczka
Mar 31 @ 1:00 pm

n an effort to connect students with art education and to help offer up a sense of schedule, I will be running free webcasts every weekday at 2 pm ET. I will be live at youtube.com/StudioJJK to offer a daily lesson. Webcasts will also be archived on YouTube for later viewing. Initially planning for this to last three weeks but will continue to run them as long as is needed and I am able to.

Your kids might know me from picture books like Punk Farm, my Lunch Lady graphic novels, or my young adult graphic memoir Hey, Kiddo. These webcasts will be appropriate for all ages. We will learn how they run as we go, but I am imagining they will run about 15 minutes or so.

Spring Sideout
Apr 1 @ 8:00 am

If you and your family are out walking/driving in Grimes,  Grimes Parks and Recreation would love to give you a small challenge and see if you can find the 7 hidden signs which have been placed in  selected GRIMES parks.

If you spot the sign go ahead and take a family photo or a selfie with the sign and see how many you can locate. Be sure once your venture is complete to tag them in your photos on social media (Facebook or Instagram) so they can see how many you found. If you collect photos with all 7 signs your name will be entered into a drawing for the Grand Prize.

Locations and maps will change each week.

⚠️We are encouraging you to follow all CDC recommendations and continue to social distance yourself.⚠️
