Our Sunset in the Vineyard Outdoor concerts are back! Out of necessity, our events will look somewhat different this year. We are starting off by limiting attendance to 150. TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE We will NOT be doing tastings and all sales by the bottle will be outside. Please limit the size of your group to 10 and be mindful of social distancing while purchasing wine and walking around. We really want to be able to keep this going! There are so many things to figure out going forward, so with your help we will make this work! We ask that you bring your own chair, glasses, opener, and ice. This free and festive celebration begins at 4:30pm with hands-on activities, pop-up performances, food trucks, and more. At 6:30pm, the Symphony plays a special concert featuring a diverse array of composers. Explore the vibrant musical traditions of the Americas through rhythm, dancing, and sing-alongs!

Join us for the Des Moines Symphony’s 27th annual Yankee Doodle Pops, Iowa’s largest single-day concert event!

As always, the Des Moines Symphony will perform time-honored, patriotic favorites including the Armed Forces Salute, The Stars and Stripes Forever, and the 1812 Overture with live Howitzer cannons and fireworks.

The winner of the Des Moines Symphony’s eleventh annual “Oh Say, Can You Sing?” competition will open Yankee Doodle Pops with The Star-Spangled Banner.
