Ever wondered about the difference between “floral” and “botanical” art? Or botanical “art” versus botanical “illustration?” Kelsey Wilson, local artist from Nevada, will be leading a discussion on the key differences of these art forms and highlighting some contemporary masters. Bring your lunch and attend each month to experience a new topic presented by local and regional professionals and lecturers.

No preregistration required.

Let’s get outside and explore! Families are invited to gather for a staff-guided nature exploration at Reiman Gardens. The outdoors are a different world in winter! Trek outside with your family to explore the Gardens on a chilly day.

Come prepared for outdoor explorations. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please preregister by the Thursday before.

February 8 – Invertebrate Encounter

March 14 – Starting Seeds and Propagating Plants

Campers ages 6-18 years old will receive riding instruction in both Western and English style riding.  Camps will be tailored to the abilities of the riders with one on one instruction.

Masters of Mimicry Spring Break Program @ Reiman Gardens

What is camouflage and mimicry, and how do plants and animals use them in the wild? Join us for a drop-in program to learn how insects, animals, and even plants use mimicry and adaption in order to survive! Take part in hands on activities and conversation to understand the mystery of mimicry. Meant for youth aged K-3rd grade with an adult.
