Pi Day Celebration @ Science Center of Iowa
Mar 14 @ 3:14 pm

3.141592653… Pi Day is an annual celebration commemorating the mathematical constant π (pi). It is observed on 3/14 (March 14) because 3, 1 and 4 are the first three significant digits of pi in decimal form!

Join us on March 14 to celebrate with special pi(e)-themed activities, including a “pie-plosion,” an enormous (clean) “pie” explosion at 3:14 pm, and a community chain, writing as many digits of pi as possible with a color-coded paper chain.

All activities are included with the cost of admission – free for SCI members!
