The 2023 Des Moines Mini Maker Faire will be hosted by the Science Center of Iowa on Monday, September 4. 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The all-ages festival celebrates those who tinker, build, experiment and collaborate.
This year’s theme – Make:Pretend – highlights creativity in creating costumes, props, stage sets, puppets and more. Exhibitors will showcase creativity from across the state, and attendees will be able to participate in hands-on activities to discover their own inner maker.
The festival atmosphere continues outside with food trucks available from 11:00 am-2:00 pm
