In this psychological thriller ex-tennis star Tony Wendice, who married his wife Margot for her money, now plans to murder her for the same reason. Tony thinks he has arranged the perfect murder, but the plan goes awry when Margot fights back. This melodrama had a highly successful run on Broadway before gaining even more popularity as a major motion picture directed by Alfred Hitchcock in 1954, starring Grace Kelly.
