We are starting a new program for the summer: Drive-In Storytime!
Miss Sheila and Miss Amber will be hosting a socially-distanced storytime for families in the library parking lot. Families can remain in their cars and we will be using a FM Transmitter to transmit right into your radio! Cars windows or trunks may be opened during the event, but we ask that you remain in your cars unless otherwise instructed. Children will be able to interact with the story and sing along to their favorite songs.
Sign up and recieve our Drive-In Storytime packet with everything you need to participate in all of our socially-distanced storytimes, as well as a Storytime ID#. (NOTE: You will only receive a packet if this is your first Drive-In Storytime.)
Recommended for ages 2-8. Registration is required. Please register once per vehicle and tell us how many children will be attending in your group.
Registration is open to Altoona and rural Polk County residents 4 weeks before the event. Registration will open to the general public 3 weeks before the event.
