Ready for 2020 to go extinct?

Help us send off this *unprecedented* year by discovering how, unlike past extinction and warming events, human activities are driving Earth’s rapidly changing climate today. Explore how Earth’s distant past is connected to the present and informs the future.

Social distancing guidelines prevent our traditional Noon Year’s Eve balloon drop, but we won’t let the celebration go off without a “bang!” Witness a massive “asteroid impact” at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm (once during each ticketing timeslot). ???

Plus, participate in themed activities and catch planetarium shows and live programs throughout the day. And don’t miss our traveling exhibit, “SUE: The T. rex Experience,” which goes extinct on January 10!

Activities are included with general admission. Tickets are limited, so we recommend reserving in advance in one of two timeslots:
– 9:00 am-12:00 pm https://bit.ly/36SVdtR
– 1:00-4:00 pm https://bit.ly/2LcxDjn

Face coverings are required for all visitors ages 2 and up. Learn more about our COVID-19 safety precautions at www.sciowa.org/reopening
