Join us for Capital City Pride’s Pride Walk!
Date: Saturday, June 1st, 2024
Time: 3:00 PM – Gathering and Public Speakers at Pappajohn Sculpture Park
3:30 PM – Pride Walk down Locust Street to the Iowa State Capitol Plaza.
Speakers & Community Gathering at the Capitol upon arrival.
Hop on the D Line (Free DART bus) from the sculpture park to the Capitol every 15 minutes until 5 PM!
Des Moines Police will guide the walk, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all.
Join us at SingleSpeed after the walk to celebrate their launching of their new PRIDE brew!
Let’s come together in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community!
