Star Party

STAR Party happens during the annual Perseid Meteor Showers, the most active meteor shower of the year for more than 2,000 years.

Activities based on space happen in the evening while there is still light and then when it gets darker, the big screen goes up for a movie in the park and watching for meteors.  While the sun is setting, guest speakers will talk about the night sky, and the interesting things you can see. There will also be crafts, experiments and other fun activities.

The activities and movie are free to the public.

Primitive Camping onsite will be available by reservation for a fee of $25.
