August 25th, 2024 the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad is having a special event called “The Wizarding Express.
Participants will partake in activities, games, photo opportunities, and ride a special excursion train trip out to the beautiful Y camp.
There will be a class on “Caring for Magical Creatures,” a Herbology classroom, and many other surprises including a special book reading by Ericson Public Library.
This event is presented in partnership with The Ericson Public Library, Des Moines Y Camp, Boone County Conservation, and the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad & Museum.
