Learn about the basics of the arthropod (insects, spiders, tarantulas, millipedes, centipedes, scorpions, etc.) form and function. (Due to the length and structure of the program and delicacy of the insects, this program is highly recommended for children ages preschool and older with an adult.) Game Night: Bring your family and friends to the library for some traditional fun. We’ll supply an assortment of board games and a popcorn/drink station for you to enjoy together. October 10 6:15 – 7:00 p.m. Library Community Room. No registration required.

Pumpkin Story Time and Decorating: Come join us for an evening of pumpkin inspired stories, music and decorating. Every child will get his or her own miniature pumpkin to decorate and take home. October 17 6:15 – 7:00 p.m. Library Community Room. Registration required.

Disney Trivia: Are you a big Disney fan? Love trivia? Join us as we combine the two for a fun family event. Fill a whole table or join some new friends for this exciting contest. Oh, and feel free to come dressed as your favorite Disney character! October 24 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Library Community Room. Registration required.

Halloween Hop: Celebrate Halloween at the library with a costume dance party! We’ll pull out some of our favorite Halloween tunes along with treats and not so spooky fun. Frozen Fiesta: Do you adore a little snowman who loves to give warm hugs? Are you excited for the new movie to come out? We are too! Make an Olaf craft hat, sip on hot cocoa, and meet Olaf’s favorite princesses — Anna and Elsa of course. Feel free to dress for the royal occasion. November 21 6:15 – 7:00 p.m. Library Community Room. Registration required.
