Come learn how to prepare for a winter ADVENTURE and more with our local Hike it Baby Des Moines group at REI! You will learn how to outfit you and your children for winter adventuring, how to select the proper baby carrier for your toddler or infant, what trails are accessible and kid friendly in your area, and how to get your child involved with the preparation process, such as looking at maps for the next location, choosing the correct clothing, helping with food, and selecting their favorite non-electronic toy to bring along. Join us as we teach you how to make hiking fun and engaging for the entire family! Kids are welcome! Put your new hiking knowledge to use!
