February 5th
WWE Monday Night Raw
Tweens and teens can see their favorite WWE Superstars in action at Wells Fargo Arena when WWE Monday Night RAW returns to Des Moines for the first time in three years! And, for the first time ever see Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns team with John Cena and Braun Strowman vs Samoa Joe, Kane and The MizRAW General Manager Kurt Angle. The event starts at 6:30 pm and tickets start at $15.
February 10th
Girls in Science Festival
Girls and families of all ages are invited to SCI’s Girls in Science Festival to explore a variety of careers in the STEM fields and connect with female role models and mentors. Attendees also will be able to register for workshops conducted by STEM professionals. The Festival will be held from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and is included with SCI general admission.

Teen Test Kitchen: Tasty Truffle Edition
Tweens and Teens–grab a friend or go solo and make some tasty truffle treats just in time for Valentine’s Day at the Altoona Public Library. Keep them or share them with someone special! This is a FREE event, which starts at 2:30 pm.

Des Moines Buccaneers Hockey Game
Head to the hockey rink to cheer on the Bucs at a home game! The action on the ice starts at 7:05 pm. Tickets start at $14.00 for Adults and $11.00 for Kids.
February 18th
MadCAP Improv
MadCAP Improv is a wild, fast-paced improvisation games workshop for kids in grades 6-12! Tickets are $5.00 at the door (CASH ONLY) and concessions are available. The fun happens from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Class Act Productions Community Theatre in Altoona.
February 24th
Warren County Polar Plunge
Brrrrrrring on the cold for a good cause! Tweens and teens can either participate in or just watch the family-friendly Polar Bear Plunge at Lake Ahquabi. They will also have refreshments, and other fun festivities. The “Plunge” takes place at 12:00 noon. Registration is required, as well as, a $75 fundraising minimum.
February 25th
Sunday Workshop Series: Tamales
Learn how to make Tamales with your tween or teen at the Kitchen Collage. This is a make and take class, so be sure not to forget to bring your own containers or buy one once you get to Kitchen Collage. Sign up is required, $30 per person.
