I heart planning birthday parties for my kids! Actually, I enjoy planning just about any kind of get together, but I especially enjoy the happy smiles and reactions from my beloveds. I ask the kids what they want for a theme for the party and then work with them on decorations, favors, food, etc. I keep track of all the birthday party details with a birthday party planner.
Our kids’ birthdays are less than a month apart, so it’s a hectic party planning time in the old Opfer household. To make the party planning easier on myself, I created a birthday party planning checklist several years ago. I thought I would share it with you today. I must admit the one I typically use is just plain old black and white, so I went ahead and “prettied” it up for you.
Having a handy dandy birthday party planning checklist helps keep me prepared. I refer to myself as an “organized procrastinator”.
