Take the Tour and Win! – Visit 31 Parks in 31 Days with Tour DM Parks

Parks are one of the few places in the whole wide world where a kid’s sole responsibility is to have as much fun as possible! Kids can be an astronaut soaring to the moon on a rocket slide or a deep sea diver in search of buried treasure at the aquatic center. From playgrounds to rose gardens, golf courses to wading pools, this is a fantastic time to check out the very coolest parks, trails and facilities that Des Moines has to offer!

The Contest

This July, Des Moines Parks and Recreation is celebrating National Parks and Recreation Month in a new and exciting way by inviting residents to get out and take a tour of their parks, trails and facilities. The promotion is called “Tour DM Parks” and from July 1-31, 2016 participants can visit 31 designated spots in the park system, share a photo on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #tourdmparks. Those who visit the most spots are then eligible to compete to win grand prizes.
