Black's Heritage Farm has pick your own pumpkins in our pumpkin patch. Nothing beats a family outing like taking everyone to the pumpkin patch. Come get a hay rack ride, see the animals, pick your own pumpkin. So much to do and see on the farm. Make a day of it!
We’re sure you’ll gather as many happy memories as apples. Enjoy daily hayrides, corn pool, corn maze and hay maze, farm animals, pedal tractors, weekend festivals with live entertainment, and so much more. Don’t forget our jumping pillows, rubber duck races, Three Little Pigs houses, and apple sling shot. We have the best (and only) Potty Barn anywhere in the Des Moines and Ames area! Of course, you can pick your own apples and find your perfect pumpkin.

For ages 3 and older Saturday and Sunday is $10.95 per person, sales tax included. (2 and under are free!)
Visit Monday-Friday to take advantage of the discounted rate of $8.95 per person; sales tax included.
Apples and/or pumpkins are NOT included in the price of admission.
A Farmyard Pass is not needed just to shop in our store or pick your own apples for purchase.
The corn maze and pumpkin patch are open on the weekends during September and October.
Kick off your Christmas shopping with a visit to Geisler Farms for your real Fraser fir Christmas tree. We will have precut trees and wreaths available beginning Black Friday.

We are a family-owned and operated pumpkin and honey farm that specializes in fall family FUN! Our idea of fun includes zip lines, giant slides, corn maze, horse rides, tractor rides to the patch & more!

General admission to The Pumpkin Ranch on Saturdays and Sundays is $8.50/person. New in 2015 is Discount Fridays when general admission is only $6.50/person. Admission prices include all activities and events offered on the day you attend. Children 2 years old and younger are ALWAYS free. Pumpkins are .46/pound and gourds are $1-$3 each, depending on size.
