Otter Creek Golf Course features a links style course with multiple sets of tees at each hole, 44 bunkers, 17 ponds, and an abundance of tall grasses and mounding.
The Otter Creek Junior Golf Program has multiple options for the summer of 2015.
Junior Golf Ages 7 to 13 – Three day camps, 8:15 to 11:15 each day, with four separate sessions.
Pee Wee Junior Golf Ages 5 & 6 – Three day camps, 6:30 to 7:30 each day, with three separate sessions.
Red Zone Scoring Academy Ages High School – Two day camps, with two separate sessions.
Our beautiful nine-hole, Par 34 golf course is open mid-March through mid-October, weather permitting. Sugar Creek is a great course for beginners and provides a challenge for seasoned golfers as well. We have a newly developed practice facility including a driving range, putting green and chipping area.
Sugar Creek offers leagues for men and women, instructional camps for junior and peewee golfers, and personal instruction for golfers of all ages. Tee times are recommended but not required.
The mission of The First Tee of Greater Des Moines is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.
Since our inception we have impacted the lives of over 3,500 youth of Central Iowa through our summer certification program, National School Program, and community outreach. No child is ever turned away - scholarships are available to those unable to afford the cost of the summer program.
Toad Valley is a family owned and operated golf course. It features an 18 hole, par 71 golf course, driving range, miniature golf and conference center.
